PPC advertising, also know as Pay Per Click advertising, is one of the most profitable marketing strategies, and is an essential component for online business success with digital marketing campaigns. PPC is a component of SEM (Search Engine Marketing) as a way to target people using Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines who are looking for similar products or services that your business offers. Through PPC campaigns, you can target certain groups of people that you want to see your advertisements while they are searching the internet using similar keyword searches that are relevant to your products or services.

There are benefits to PPC, both with cost efficiency and increased engagement to your website. The pricing model of a PPC campaign, as the name suggests,  is you only pay when someone clicks on your advertisement (CPC); or when your ad is served impressions (CPM). It is important to budget yourself carefully, so you’re not exhausting your money without receiving any results.
