TORONTO, Thursday, September 15, 2016 – Surround seized  the summer with some amazing brand wins – the young integrated marketing agency from Oakville landed almost $750,000 in new business, including Mevotech, an aftermarket automotive company, along with Applebee’s and Domino’s Pizza.

startup-50-16-logo-250x379Surround’s spectacular performance in helping businesses grow business is not only bringing in new clients but continues to capture industry attention and accolades, including the prestigious honour of being ranked by Profit 500 as one of Canada’s 50 fastest-growing startups. Surround grabbed the 29th spot in the list that was just released today.

“In this competitive landscape, it takes something exceptional for a company to stand out,” said Surround CEO and co-founder Geoff Whitlock. “We are proud to be on the list of Canadian startups that are driving the economy, that are taking chances and creating an entrepreneurial buzz, brand loyalty and thriving workplaces.”

Surround is a game changer in the industry, a disruptive force that is revolutionizing digital marketing delivery – proof is in its extraordinary growth of 302% over the past two years, and its esteemed roster of clients, which now includes Mevotech. “We are thrilled about teaming up with Mevotech and becoming their Agency of Record. Stay tuned for an exciting blend of creative brand advertising with local direct marketing to support their needs, plus unique content marketing programs across multiple channels that’ll drive awareness and connect the brand to their audience like no other,” said Whitlock, of Surround.

Surround’s extensive expertise in the automotive aftermarket helped win over Mevotech, a successful 30-year-old company producing the best in vehicle parts. Surround has boosted market leadership and drive for other successful automotive national brands, including Master Mechanic, Performance Auto Group and Jiffy Lube.

“We’re a young and scrappy group always pushing to redefine what integrated marketing is all about, and re-imagine more meaningful, connected experiences,” added Whitlock. The team builds attention through creative strategy and cross channel marketing execution using everything from website building, optimizing and designing, to original content, video and

Whitlock’s focus is on being great rather than big and he generously credits his team of good people for aggressively delivering in an industry gluttonized by fly-by-night marketing companies. “We give clients what they need – it’s all about them from the very first meeting on. We build deep relationships with our clients, and in turn, do the same for our clients and their customers. Then through word of mouth they sell our company to others.”

Commitment, loyalty and results drive Surround: “We are a long-term partner. We succeed when clients succeed,” said Whitlock.
